Goodbye 2016

2016, you’ve been an interesting year to put it nicely. I dislike you for many reasons including taking away some of our precious loved ones and bringing us a demented president-elect. In all seriousness, it’s been a rough year for my family personally and for many of our friends.

Each new year brings new resolutions that inevitably, most people don’t follow through on executing. One that’s commonly mentioned is people wanting to travel more in the upcoming year. 2016 in retrospect has been a decent/good travel year for me. I was able to visit Japan and do it in style after a 2013 planned trip was put on hold. Went to Costa Rica, Turks and Caicos and visited many states while also taking a ton of Disney trips with G&O, as newly minted annual pass holders. Still, we didn’t travel abroad as much as I would have wanted to and I won’t let that happen in 2017.

G&O will meet “Little Mermaid” in Copenhagen in 2017!

For 2017 I’ve already booked trips to Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Denmark and Norway with a late year Colombia trip all but certain. Hoping to add a few short international getaways and domestic weekend travel trips with G&O to round out the travel schedule for 2017.

If you’re looking to travel more in 2017, don’t procrastinate, DO IT! Don’t “wait and see”, own your travel goals and look into booking trips sooner rather than later.

Have a Happy New Year friends!
