Thoughts On Blogging

DD Daddy August 17, 2016 Posts 2 Comments on Thoughts On Blogging

The desire to share often what life is like raising three year old identical twins crosses my mind daily. Sadly, time doesn’t slow down and days are short which means having a moment to gather my thoughts on paper  the blog are infrequent but that doesn’t mean I don’t yearn for writing therapy.

My motivation for the blog was and still is, to be a voice for parents (especially dads) where we take ownership of the upbringing of our children. Not to be the Robin to her Batman but to have two Batman’s (Batmen?) at home. The other motivating factor was to instill a sense of empowerment with those who follow the blog that anyone can travel as luxuriously or as often as they’d like with some travel hacks and tips.

Point being, I’ve been blogging a bit over a year now and feel as if I haven’t been as expressive as I want to be in sharing every obstacle and milestone that life has thrown at me because I’m too busy being daddy, husband, professor, employee, event planner, travel hacker, realtor and trying to be great at this thing called, life. At times I feel overwhelmed but I continue to have the innate sense within me that I can handle anything and that I’ve got everything under control.

Those of you who encourage me and praise my blog, THANK YOU. It’s a struggle to share everything (time-wise) but with the small sample size of posts I’ve published, it feels great to know you guys are reading the content. Still, my motivating factor is to continue to be a voice for parents and to help people view travel as a feasible goal and not some unattainable costly luxury.

I’ll continue to write posts every chance I get and hope to remain relevant in your daily weekly reading material.

TY
